This was the first year I started to use internet in forecasting auroras. It is strange how much this has added my anxiety! In old times if it was cloudy, no problem; now if it is cloudy and internet tells about auroral activity, I become almost paralyzed in desperate hope for breaking clouds or in search for clear weather at reasonable distance to make a drive there. In old times cloudy nights were for good sleeps; now every so often cloudy night means checking it every 30 minutes and losing night's sleep.
