Just "fancy" forms of contrails. However, planes and contrails are quite a nuisance in cloud photography and in astrophotography: occasionally there is no point to photograph an interesting cloud, because sky is spoiled by contrails. Likewise, putting effort on deepsky photography may turn out to be useless because f. ex. on my astrophotography site there is an hour long period with 4-7 planes passing overhead.
