Early August 2003 a good display took place. Thunder was mostly far away and I did not need to cover cameras against rain. However, far away thunder means also that one should use a tele to succeed. This again results in a lot of vasted film because with tele the hit rate is not always too good. It is a good idea to use aged film for this kind of a project. Night time lightning colour will be - whether film is fresh or aged - magenta.
